Crusader Camp Out

Friday night was the Crusader's Camp Out! The first thing I did when I got there was catch tiny frogs. Then we all sat on a trailer and Bro. Joe gave us a ride. We stopped at a blueberry bush and apple tree. We rode into a golf course after that...Ryan Hoffert lost his shoe there. :) We stopped by the horses and fed them our extra apples that we picked. When we got back to camp, we went on a hike to the Indian River and had so much fun playing there! Bro Joe found a flower that smelt like mint. After returning to camp, we ate hot dogs, hamburgers, and chips. When we were done eating, we ran and played games in the barn. Then we played games using water balloons, bouncy balls, eggs on spoons, and much more! When it was dark, we went back to camp and roasted marsh mellows over the fire. Then we played the game Marco Polo. Before heading to bed, we sang songs around the campfire, and Bro. Joe told us two ghost stories.
I HAD SO MUCH FUN! :)

Ordering school books & playground fun

Kaleb and I are washing the car. It was Kaleb's idea to wash the car. When we finished, it shined like new!

I took a picture of Travis in the back seat right before we left to go order the school books.
Here we are in a big room at a hotel looking at school books for me and Kaleb.
This is a picture of some of the school books on display.
This is Mama looking at books for Kaleb.
Here's Mama ordering our books online. I was watching Travis; and when he was bad, I fed him candy.
Since we were extra good, Mama took us to the Amana school playground. I am riding on a super fast twirly thing! When I got off, I was very dizzy!
Kaleb and I slid back and forth on this ride. It was very fun!

Making Cookies

Right now I am getting all the ingredients to make Honey Bee Cookies. Grama and Papa gave me a Alpha-Bakery Children's Cookbook for Christmas '08. I found this recipe in the book.

I am mixing all the ingredients together in a bowl. Then I put them in the oven and set the timer for 7 minutes. Then I get to eat what you see in the picture below. Kaleb, Daddy, Travis, Mama and I loved the cookies!

Home activities

This is me right after I got home from visiting Aunt Katie and Eric in Florida. I'm giving Jane a ride in my basket.

I'm doing my chores again...
I get our breakfast ready for Mama.
This is 200 pounds of beef from one of my Anna's cows.
I'm putting Daddy and Kaleb to sleep by playing my harp.
Helping Daddy prepare the garden for planting.
MY TEST RESULTS! I scored in the top 90% of kids...3rd grade level.
I'm back to doing school work after my long vacation. Mama is standing outside my window taking this picture.
Here we are planting peas...we did it all ourselves...Daddy just stood back and watched us.
Then our work is done. Daddy is getting our fishing poles ready and takes us fishing at the lake! :)

Elsa's Horse Adventure II

After she got done riding the horse, she took a nap in the nice warm sun under a tree. Then one of the horses woke her up. So, then Elsa played w/the horses. She was getting older and older until she was twenty years old. She started to think of some ideas; and she thought, Maybe I should build a house for myself and a barn for my horses. So, she got to work. Elsa got done w/the house and was busy working on the barn when a terrible storm came up! The storm was almost there, and the wind was blowing Elsa off her feet and up into the air! But one of the horses dashed over and saved her. Then they started to run away from the storm and into a forest. A flash of lightening caught the forest on fire! The girl and the horse were almost about to blow-up. Then the whole group of horses broke out of the corral and saved her. One horse was left in the burning forest, the horse that saved Elsa from blowing away. So, Elsa rode back in and helped the horse find her way back out. Elsa got burned some. The horse put her to bed and gave her some medicine. The End.

Build-A-Bear

This is my Build-A-Bear box that I got for Christmas. Mama and I finally got time to open it up yesterday evening and put it together.

Kaleb and I are fluffing up the stuffing for the bear while Mama is sowing up the outsides of the bear.

I am putting in the stuffing.

I make a wish, and then I put the heart inside the bear, and then Mama sows it up completely.

This is me decorating the bear's dress w/rhinestones.
I am gluing a pink bow on the side of the bear's ear.
Next, I put the shoes on.
Now the house is all done and ready for the bear. By the way, her name is Suzie. I decorated her house...and then I played w/her. :)

Aunt Kristin, one of your other schoolmates was Mama.
I am going to write Elsa's Adventures II today. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for being my followers! :)

Before the test, Daddy took a picture of us...this is the picture. We took half of the test today, and we are going to finish it up the math and science sections tomorrow.............because on Wednesday, Daddy said he is going to take me fishing. :)

Daddy in the Choir

Elsa's Horse Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Elsa, and she wanted a horse. But her Daddy wouldn't let her have a horse. So, Elsa went outside and rode her bike to town to look at some horses in a big barn. A man came up to her, and he asked her if she wanted a horse. But she said, "I can't get a horse because my Daddy said I can't have one." Then she went over to a horse named Black Blast; and when her pinkie touched the horse, she went into a land with flowers and sunshine and green grass. She started to run. As Elsa was running, she heard a loud noise behind her. She turned her head and saw one thousand horses! She picked a horse and rode it. Then she never worried about anything again. The End.
